My First Blog on All Things Anime
Wow, I'm finally starting my very own anime blog. This feels great. I can write my thoughts out about the animes I just simply love to watch. That's cool and amazing. Should have done it a long time but then, it doesn't matter. I can do it now. That's what matters.
I wasn't so sure about blogging on anime before because I always only watched the series and just thoroughly enjoyed them, sitting in front of the TV watching the DVDs straight on, like a typical couch potato. Hahaha. But that's what's great about watching anime. Watch them straight out without breaks. So I don't lag behind the next episode. I get a bit riled when I see the ending but I love listening to the final songs though. J-pop music is so good to the ears. Jumpy, catchy, and sometimes melancholic. I really love listening to the anime music-it's my best music therapy.
These anime deserve so much credit especially to the people who made them. They are uber-amazing people, afterall, who made everything possible. Every anime produced creates a heart-stopping moment when they are released. (I feel particularly hyped right now on Shoukogeki's Ni no Sara- finally a second season is already out to resume what was left off from the first season.)
And I haven't started on Shoukogeki: Ni no Sara yet because I am watching Sousei no Onmyouji or Twin Star Exorcist. A curious action-packed rivalry of a girl who want to be the best Onmyouji in Japan while meeting the guy who once held the kind of dream as her until tragedy struck to stop him from achieving it. Now, it will be up to Benio to persuade Rokuro to once again put up the fight to wipe out the Magano, the dirty spirit that contaminates the land, unseen to ordinary eyes but a duty for the exorcists to exterminate.
Aside from Sousei, there's also Hataraku Maou-sama. A funny sort of anime, I must say. Never thought Satan will have to sweat to make it in life. Hahaha. Sado just doesn't cut up for the mundane world but because he is in his "human" form, he is totally acceptable in the human world. He's not too outstanding but rather a regular type really friendly guy. Seemed like he had already shed off his satanic form. But to be honest though, Sado is a whole lot cooler when he is in Satan's form. Classically sophisticated and elegant like the Prince of all princes.
I'm also very glad about the release of the OVA Akagami no Shirayukihime-Nandemonai Takaramono Kono Page. I love the dalliance brought by this anime. It has a very nice atmosphere in the story. Shirayuki's friendship with Zen that ultimately developed into love as the story progressed is an expected turn but how it was laid out in the anime is pretty good. Friendship, love, and the journey on achieving their dreams. Shirayuki's journey on becoming a great herbalist is assisted by all the supportive people around her. Her love for Zen, which is equally felt is blossoming and expressed in this OVA episode. That was nice and sweet.
Moving on, I haven't finish watching yet Kamisama Hajimemashite OVAs. And in these OVA, the past Tomoe is shown and reunited with his first love. Nanami has to go to back into his past to save him from dying. How true love really makes a person all that strong and powerful to fight even fear in order to overcome it. Tomoe's waist long white hair makes him all the more cooler and sexier. A dream wolf-god (ookami-sama na). I want one like him. He'll make a good guardian and a great friend, plus he's a great cook. A very commendable demon who is very useful at all times. Nanami, is really lucky to have him by her side.
Well, this is it for now for my very first anime post. I'll keep on writing so I can share and release my thoughts about these splendid anime that I have loved, savored and feasted before my very eyes. Long live anime!! Banzai!!!
